This is not the first Bodum product we've had, and it certainly won't be the last! We've always been very pleased with their items, and gladly give 5 stars to this.
Although it's freezing outside we know warm weather is coming (soon, we hope). Nonetheless, couldn't wait to try making ice coffee in this container. It is so easy, and the result is delicious - up to 12 cups.
Use coarse ground coffee, and then all you do is add water and stir. Put in fridge and coffee is ready in the a.m., pour over ice. Coffee tastes freshly brewed.
Love the bright green color that perks up our kitchen (and me!)

The Bodum Bean Ice gives you the best way to make iced coffee with a French press-and it's remarkably simple, as well. First you put the ground coffee in the jug as usual. Then, you add cold water and put the jug in the fridge overnight. In the morning you press down the plunger-et voila-you have the most smooth tasting ice coffee you can imagine. The Bodum Bean Ice comes with two lids: one for the fridge overnight, and one with a plunger to press down the coffee grounds in the morning.
